My Tasting Notes: I tried this tequila at Zocalo in Sacramento, CA.  This bottle has
a unique design, being that it is in the shape of an X.  With a golden color, this tequila
has intense aromas of floral, caramel, and earth.  Other aromas include moderate fruit,
vanilla, and spice.  The tequila has a medium-to-heavy mouth feel and on the first sip is
semi-sweet with a hint of bitterness.  XQ Gran Reserva has intense flavors of earth,
vanilla, and caramel followed by moderate-to-intense notes of agave and smoke.  With
a long duration of flavor, tastes of moderate floral and mild fruit and spice bring this
tequila to a numbing finish.

Other Info: "The Tequila for our family has been much more than a drink, is a culture
of the Mexican people and a life style, and to manage to produce the tequila of the
highest quality in the world; all the process becomes in our own facilities “ESTATE
BOTTLED.”

The process has been beginning for three generations, from the quality of earth, the
water, and after four years to take care of them to each plant of blue agave tequila
weber, they are selected with extreme care by its sugar content, choosing the best
ones passing to the co foundation in furnaces of stone and brick, later we extract its
aromatic juice to ferment them with a 100% natural process, later to happen through a
process of triple distillation; and as result we obtain the tequila of the best quality in
the world, by his purity, aroma and flavor of the blue agave 100% natural.

The maturing is in new barrels of American white oak, French white oak limousine, and
Encino.  All our products we planted them, we produce, we age, and we bottled them
within our plant." -
