What You Need To Know
I decide to make this website for two reasons: to help myself when I
am out tequila hunting and to have another tequila informative
website with a different flair than the others. I am by no means
trying to reinvent the wheel (or tahona in this case) and I encourage
all of you to visit some of the great tequila informative sites on the
web. For this reason, I have added quotes from various sites I visit
quite often throughout this website. Each quote has a direct link to
the site in hopes that you will visit them as well.
I have been collecting tequila since mid 2005 and consider tequila to
be my passion in life. This site will only contain bottles I have in my
collection that are full and all prices provided are what I paid for the
bottles and include tax. I will not put up any open bottles that I am
drinking, mainly because I do not want to go to all the work of
putting up pages that I would take down when the bottles were
finished.
Some of the bottles in my collection have been provided by friends
and companies. In this instance, the bottles have "donated by"
instead of prices. I have also provided a special thanks section to
thank these people for their additions to my collection. I greatly
appreciate all the help and support from all of you.
When it comes to my tasting notes, you may notice that there are not
any ratings. This is not because I do not rate the products, but
instead, is because I do not think anyone should solely go on the taste
preferences of one individual. For this reason, my ratings can only be
found on Tequila.net where the site provides a group average of
products. If you really want to know my ratings, I can be found on
Tequila.net under Tequila Joe.
With all that said, you are now ready to begin your search and
