To reach the next generation of tequila connoisseurs and aficionados, Tres
Generaciones is launching its Tres Generaciones Society. The Society brings together
today’s high achievers and influencers to share their knowledge and wisdom with the
next generation. Those who are invited to be members in the Tres Generaciones
Society can log onto the new Tres Generaciones micro site, www.3GSociety.com, to
share their exclusive knowledge and wisdom and learn more about Tres Generaciones,
upcoming Society events and news. To help revitalize the lost practice of sharing
wisdom and knowledge for the next generation, Tres Generaciones will be honoring
Three Generations of distinctive achievers in key industries across the country
throughout 2009.

Tres Generaciones, or Three Generations, is named after Don Cenobio, Don Eladio and
Don Francisco Javier Sauza, the three legendary tequila pioneers of the Sauza family
who helped define the tequila industry and grow Sauza into one of today’s leading
tequilas. The 100 percent Weber blue agave tequila line honors three generations of
tequila knowledge, wisdom and passion. An industry pioneer, Don Cenobio Sauza
created his signature Sauza tequila in 1873 and was the first to bottle and export the
spirit and call it “tequila”. His son, Don Eladio, followed in his father’s footsteps,
bringing worldwide recognition to Sauza as well as introducing new methods to the
process of making great tequila. Grandson, Don Francisco Javier, brought Sauza tequila
into the modern age by improving on his father’s techniques and, in honor of his father
and grandfather, created Tres Generaciones. Don Francisco Javier released Tres
Generaciones to celebrate his family’s contributions to the tequila industry and initially
made only 100 bottles to commemorate the 100th anniversary of La Perseverancia, the
Sauza distillery.

“Tres Generaciones honors the tradition of tequila legends Don Cenobio, Don Eladio
and Don Francisco Javier and recognizes the wisdom and success of the current high
achievers of today,” stated Derek Sauls, brand manager, Tres Generaciones. “Tres
Generaciones is a smooth tequila because it is uniquely distilled three times. Its clean,
floral and light finish rivals any super-premium tequila on the market.”

While keeping its signature shape, the new Tres Generaciones packaging tells the
brand’s story through the artisanal craftsmanship of its founders and the tequila-
making process in a modern and stylish way. The front label features medallions of the
three founding Dons of Sauza (Don Cenobio, Don Eladio and Don Francisco Javier) and
the date of 1873 when Don Cenobio founded La Perseverancia, the Sauza family
distillery. The Sauza family crest adorns the neck while the back of the bottle has
engraved agave leaves, representing the time and dedication of the Sauza family to
the 100 percent Weber blue agave cultivation. A rendition of a metal beaten collar
decorates the shoulder of the bottle in silver (Plata), gold (Reposado) and bronze
(Añejo) colors and the bottle is topped with an elegant wood and cork bottle stopper.

Tres Generaciones® Plata is an un-aged, crystal clear silver tequila made from 100
percent Weber blue agave. It is triple-distilled, giving it a unique pure taste and
smoothness. It has an aroma that hints of citrus and sweet floral notes. Tres
Generaciones® Reposado is made from 100 percent blue agave. It is triple-distilled for
smoothness, then rested in American oak barrels for at least two months. Reposado
has a bright gold color and flavors of wood, pepper, herbs and spice. Tres
Generaciones® Añejo is the crowning achievement of the Sauza family distillery. The
delicate natural amber hue comes from at least 12 months in charred American Oak
barrels. The richness of the 100 percent blue agave is enhanced with the subtle flavors
from the charred wood, hints of caramel and vanilla, and it ends with a warm, oaky
finish.

The new bottles and labels of the 80-proof Tres Generaciones portfolio will be available
in 50ml, 375ml and 750ml bottles beginning January 2009. The 750ml bottle has a
suggested retail price of $45.99 for Plata, $47.99 for Reposado and $49.99 for Añejo,
which varies by market."
