de Orellana, provides the following information about Sauza Hacienda Reposado:
"Don Cenobio Sauza founded Tequila Sauza in 1893, on the same land that had been
occupied since the late eighteenth century by the Taberna de La Cruz. The company
grew over the years as the Sauza family purchased neighboring distilleries and
incorporated them into their own factory, which continues to produce some of the
finest tequilas in Mexico.
In 2000, to render homage to this symbolic site, Casa Sauza created Hacienda, a
bright yellow Reposado tequila with woody notes. It is targeted at younger drinkers,
whose palates are no less demanding and who are always on the cutting edge of
consumer trends."
