"Making tequila is painstaking work. The alchemy of tequila requires effort and
diligence: the agave must be harvested, backed, ground, distilled, and then aged in
barrels. Its production is closely linked to the knowledge and experience that is
passed down from generation to generation. For this reason, tequila will always be
distinguished by its careful craftsmanship.
To celebrate this heritage, a Reposado tequila was created at the Hacienda La
Perseverancia in 1997. It is made according to traditional processes, resulting in
handcrafted quality that attests to the meticulous care that goes into its production
and the vast knowledge of one of the oldest distilleries in the history of tequila. "
