Other Info: As far as I know, the original bottles had the word "Xalixco" on the
bottles. Later, Pura Sangre decided to remove this from the labels.
Below is a little information about the distillery:
“La Tequilena distillery remains a work in progress. New copper stills fill the remodeled
distillation room, and two column stills outside stretch to the sky like shining
spaceships. La Tequilena is also responsible for Xalisco, Lapiz, and Don Fulano among
a few other brands. Pura Sangre line features 100% blue agave and is one of a
handful pick of brands that IPN Tequila Specialist highly recommends.” –Tequila
