bottle. The neck tag reads: "The quality of great tequila is based on the careful
selection of the best blue Agave plants.
Their long and spiky leaves known as "Penca Azul" protect the heart of the plant,
which weighs more than 80 pounds (40 kg) Their blue color and size reflects the result
of ten years of caring of the noble specie, which grows mainly in the Valley of Tequila
and the highlands of Jalisco.
The careful cooking, fermenting, and distilling of their juices gives birth to a superb
sipping Tequila.
The handcrafted small batch production tequila, has been aged in fine oak barrels for
more than two years to offer a smooth balance between the Agave's sweet fruitiness
and the oak's essences. Penca Azul "Reserva" is an Ultra Premium sipping Tequila.
