My Tasting Notes: The tequila is a darker yellow golden color and has an intense
earthy and floral aromas.  Once you get past the intensity of the nose, you can smell
moderate notes of fruit and vanilla.  On the tip of the tongue the tequila is mellow and
soft but yet has a moderate agave taste.  While the tequila has a low bitterness, it is
actually fairly sweet.  The flavor has intense agave and earthy attributes which are
followed by moderate floral flavors.  Lastly, there are mild flavors of fruit, vanilla, and
spicy accents.  The tequilas finish is a long duration of flavor followed by a numbing
alcohol feeling.

Info on the Back of the Bottle: "On the high plains of Jalisco, at the foothills of
the majestic Sierra Madre mountains you will find the Herradura estate.  It is here that
Herradura has been produced and bottled since 1870.

Herradura is made naturally from 100% blue agave, with no additives.  Only the finest
blue agave, harvested at their prime after years of careful cultivation, are used to
make Herradura.  As a result, only a limited amount of Herradura can be bottled each
year to maintain this standard of excellence.

Herradura Reposado.  Savor the smooth taste of this natural Reposado tequila.  Enjoy
it straight or make a real Margarita.  Taste the legend...Tequila Herradura."

Other Info: The date stamp on the bottle is November 26th, 2008.

"The originator continues to set the standard – Herradura invented the Reposado
category and, in doing so, completely reinvented tequila.  Many other tequila makers
followed is in making what they call Reposado or “rested” tequila, but none can offer
you the originality and excellence of Herradura Reposado.

To be classified as Reposado, a tequila must be aged for a minimum of two months.
Herradura Reposado is aged for 11 months, which is in itself a testament to our
exacting standards.

When you drink Herradura Reposado, the peripheral facade of flavors fade.  A perfect
balance of wood, fruity notes, vanilla, and spices transport you to a magical place of
timeless beauty.” –
