My Tasting Notes: With a yellow golden color, Gran Centenario Reposado has an
intense floral aroma.  Less apparent are moderate fruit and mild spice, earth, and
caramel aromas.  Upon initial taste, the tequila has a medium, oily mouth feel and is
soft and mellow on the tip of the tongue.  Intense flavors of floral and agave accents
are followed by moderate earth, pepper, and spice flavors.  The finish consists of a
numbing alcohol intensity and a medium-to-long duration of flavor.

Info on the Back of the Bottle: "Centenario Reposado is a tequila of
unparalleled smoothness and quality.  It is distilled from carefully selected 10-year-old
blue agave plants and aged in new oak barrels to achieve the perfect balance of taste
and smoothness."

Other Info: According to Gran Centenario, "This is a Reposado (rested) tequila par
excellence.  Its distinctive yellow-gold color, with golden flashes dancing within the
traditional clear "caballito" shot glass, was highly prized by Don Lazaro Gallardo, who
enjoyed this special tequila during many pleasant occasions in the highlands of Jalisco.

The resting time of Gran Centenario Reposado in barrels of new white oak does not
end until it has obtained its characteristic amber tones and its exquisite taste, in which
one can savor delicate notes of wood and fruit.  It is ideal for enjoying on its own or
mixed with citrus-flavored beverages.
