My Tasting Notes: With a clear color with a slight yellow hue, Gran Centenario
Silver has an intense aroma of floral scents.  Less apparent are moderate spice and
fruit with mild earth and smoke aromas.  Upon initial taste, the tequila has a thin
mouth feel and is soft and mellow on the tip of the tongue.  Moderate flavors of spice,
agave, and earth accents are followed by mild floral, fruit, and smoke flavors.  The
finish consists of a slightly numbing and tingly alcohol intensity and a short-to-medium
duration of flavor.

Info on the Back of the Bottle: "Centenario Plata is distilled from select
10-year-old agave plants and then carefully processed to achieve the perfect balance
of traditional tequila flavor and extra smoothness."

Other Info: According to Gran Centenario, "New white oak barrels play a leading
role in making Gran Centenario Plata, the "prince" of white tequilas.  The tequila rests
in these barrels until its characteristic aroma and persistent, uniform flavor have been
obtained, along with the unique silver-toned color from which it derives its name.  The
smoky agave tones of its aroma transport one back to the ancient stone ovens in
which the heart of the blue agave has been transformed into a spirited beverage.
Because of its uniquely smooth flavor, Gran Centenario Plata can be enjoyed on its
own or with the mixer of your choice."
