My Tasting Notes: With a yellow golden color, Don Julio Anejo has intense aromas
of floral and fruit.  Moderate aromas consist of vanilla, while mild aromas are of spice
and caramel.  The tequila has no bitterness to it and a sweet aftertaste.  Initial flavors
are intense caramel.  There are also moderate agave, fruit, and vanilla flavors.
Numbing alcohol intensity and a long duration of flavor bring this tequila masterpiece to
a close.

Info on the Back of the Bottle: "Don Julio Anejo has a citrus aroma that
suggests a hint of lime and grapefruit with a touch of mandarin.  The taste is clean and
dry with a touch of wild honey.  For over six decades, Don Julio has been crafting
Mexico's finest tequila.  Just one sip shows it is a labor of love.  Try it over ice or in a
snifter straight."

Other Info: This bottles date stamp is January 3rd, 2005.

"Since 1942 Don Julio has cultivated agave that requires seven to ten years to reach
full maturity under the brilliant sun of Los Altos de Jalisco.  As in those years, Don Julio
continues to produce this tequila with the same care at "La Primavera" distillery.

After 18 months in American Oak Barrels Don Julio Anejo has a lime, grapefruit and
mandarin aroma that complements a smooth flavor with a touch of butterscotch and
results in a bright, light spiced finish with the essence of wild honey.

Our anejo is an experience to be best enjoyed in a snifter or over ice.
