Other Info: My good friend Mark Cannon from PocoTequila.com has provided the
following information about this bottle:

"Originally the "Centenario" brand was clearly touted as a Cuervo product. The first
examples I've seen had a very simple Black & White label but with these similar ribbed
bottles. I believe those were followed by bottles and labels like the example you have.
At that time the Centenario brand was only sold in Mexico. At some point in the late
1980's these same bottles with basically the same labels were sold in the USA under
the name of "Dos Reales". So you could get Centenario in Mexico and Dos Reales in the
USA but they were both Mixto (51% Agave) produced at La Rojeña (NOM 1104). With
the rising demand for 100% agave tequila in the early to mid 1990's, Cuervo replaced
both labels with the introduction of the 100% agave product and the modified name of
"Gran Centenario". Again, the same basic labels were used but "Gran Centenario" was
(and is) being produced at Cuervo's other distillery 'Los Camachines' or 'Casa Cuervo'
(NOM 1122). Basically through relatively recent years Cuervo has tried to remove any
visible evidence of affiliation with its other brands, particularly Gran Centenario and
then 1800 which are now both 100% Agave and produced at NOM 1122."
