My Tasting Notes: These are not my tasting notes and the reasoning is explained
below in the other info section.

"Golden with brown tones. Full attack, but light agave intensity. Sencillo. Lots of
caramel and vanilla aromas, to the point of cream soda in the nose. Sweet with
medium mouth feel. Nutty, caramel flavors. More delicate than Cuervo Gold.
" -From Lance Cutler's book the
Tequila Lover's Guide to Mexico and his website Wine
Patrol

Info on the Back of the Bottle: n/a

Other Info: Originally, 1800 bottles all had Cuervo above them and were produced
at the 1104 NOM distillery.  Later, Cuervo decided to distance themselves and set 1800
apart from Cuervo.  Cuervo moved 1800 to their 1122 NOM distillery and removed the
Cuervo name from the bottles.  Then in subsequent years they finally made 1800 a
100% Agave product.

The front of the bottle states that Cuervo 1800 is "a natural golden distillate from the
agave plant (A variety of the maguey).  Distilled by Tequila Cuervo, S.A. Tequila, Jal.
Mex."

Seeing that this is a mixto and I have never seen another bottle for sale, I doubt I will
have any tasting note of my own up here.  This is why I have posted tasting notes
from Lance Cutler's book and website
(Wine Patrol).
