My Tasting Notes: I tried this tequila at my home and tasted it in a Riedel.  With a
yellow golden color, this tequila has intense floral aromas with moderate earth, fruit,
and wood.  Other aromas include mild intensities of spice.  The tequila has a thin-to-
medium mouth feel and on the first sip has a low level of sweetness with no
bitterness.  Intense floral flavors are followed by moderate-to-intense notes of wood
and agave.  With a medium-to-long duration of flavor, tastes of moderate earth and
mild fruit and spice bring this tequila to a tingly, numbing finish.

Other Info: The bottles neck tag has the following information:

"Clase Azul tequila is the fusion between the finest 100% Blue Agave tequila and the
most beautiful handcrafted Mexican bottle.  "A true ultra premium tequila selection."
Each styled bottle is hand made and hand painted which makes each piece unique.
Clase Azul has its roots in the lands of Tequila, Jalisco, where the best Blue Agaves in
the world are harvested.  This produces an exceptional tequila with a unique flavor,
softness, and aroma."

Tequila Specialist provides the following information, “Some maquila arrangements plus
a private formula allows the entrepreneur Arturo Lomeli (brand owner) to dictate how
the tequila is made.  That’s the case with Clase Azul.  Also very important to this brand
is the elegant decanter, a byproduct of a long time relationship between IPN and the
producer.”
