“Centinela has been producing for almost one-hundred years in Arandas, Jalisco,
Mexico.  It is handcrafted from the Blue Weber Agave in limited quantities by
experienced artisans in a small distillery where every detail is important.  We only use
agave grown in the rugged mountains of Arandas, where the hot Mexican sun, the cool
mountain nights, and the rich red soil produce the best agaves.

The Blanco (“Silver”) is an unaged tequila which has a clean, light taste.  It allows one
to fully savor the exquisite agave flavor.  Our Reposado (“Gold”) is aged in white
American oak barrels for six to nine months.  It has a subtle oak taste, making it a
favorite in Gold Margarita's or straight up.  And, finally, there is our Anejo and Anejo
Tres Años: The Anejo is aged for a period of at least one year, and the Tres Años for
three years.  The added richness, flavor and complexity of our Anejos is determined by
the length of aging.  The extraordinary smooth taste of these Anejos is so delicious
that they are usually enjoyed without mixing.

Centinela Tequila is the winner of many awards and honors including the Fine
Beverage & Food Federation’s Barkeepers Best Award of Excellence in 1993 and 1994
in the super-premium, 100% Blue Agave category.  Try our tequila and see why the
experts consider Centinela “Mexico’s finest.”
