My Tasting Notes: On this date I tried this tequila by doing a blind tasting using a
snifter.  This tequila is a deep yellow golden color and has intense aromas of earth and
floral.  There are also moderate aromas of fruit and smoke followed by mild spice and
caramel.  A mellow taste on the tip of the tongue leads to a low-to-sweet level of
sweetness with no bitterness.  The Cazadores Anejo flavor contains intense fruit and
floral flavors and moderate vanilla, agave, and caramel.  The tequila also has mild
intensities of earth followed by a moderate amount of bite.  Cazadores Anejo finishes
with a medium duration of flavor and a numbing alcohol feeling.

Other Info: This bottles date stamp is from 2008.

"Cazadores Anejo Tequila originates from a selection of the finest 100% Blue Agave
found only in the Los Altos Region of Jalisco.  The succulent hearts of the Agave
("pinas"), from this highland region are unearthed at their peak of sweetness and
transported to the nearby distillery.

Once at the distillery, the Agave pinas undergo a steaming process to soften the pinas
and bring forth their sweet aroma and rich flavor.  Cooking in this manner produces a
dine juice known as the "honey" which contains the essence or the "heart" of the
Agave.  This special process, used in creating Cazadores Anejo Tequila, yields the best
of the Agave and captures the unique characteristics imparted by the fertile, rich soil of
the Los Altos region of Jalisco.

Cazadores Anejo Tequila is the result of a meticulous production process bu our Master
Blender and his team of skilled Tequila craftsmen.  Their uncompromising pursuit of this
fine distillate is further exemplified by solely aging Cazadores Anejo Tequila in American
Oak barrels.  This combination of craftsmanship, quality, and experience yields a
delicately smooth, unmistakably balanced flavor, with a bouquet of fine oak, and a
golden amber color.  As a result, Cazadores Anejo Tequila meets the exacting
standards of the most discriminating palates." -Cazadores Anejo Neck Tag
