My Tasting Notes: I tried this tequila at a friend home and tasted it in a Riedel
glass.  With a pale yellow golden color, this tequila has intense aromas of earth and
spice.  Other aromas include moderate smoke.  The tequila has a medium-to-oily mouth
feel and on the first sip has a minimal sweetness with mild bitterness.  Moderate
flavors of agave, earth, spice, and wood are followed by mild notes of floral, smoke,
and a chemical of some sort.  With a short-to-medium duration of flavor this tequila
finishes with a subtle alcohol intensity.

Other Info: "In 1850 the Cetto Family migrated from North Austria to Italy, where
they began the cultivation and process of making a popular wine known as "Grappa".
In 1930 Mr. Angelo Cetto migrated to a small winery in the foothills of Baja California to
develop his own wine.

In 1959, Mr. Fabrizio Cetto established himself in the wine making industry.  After being
established in the business for 16 years, he and his family decided to move to the city
of Guadalajara, Mexico.  This is where he discovered how to cultivate and distill agave
into tequila.

In 1986 Mielagaves established the cultivation of Agave Azul (Blue Agave).  Since 1999
the IIDEA Distillery has worked with Mielagaves to produce over 20,000 liters of tequila
per day.  IIDEA produces 50,000 tons of agave per year obtaining and aging the best
tequilas in the area." -
