Other Info: "Tequila Siete Leguas Distillery is located in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco,
Mexico. Since its founding in 1952 by Don Ignacio Gonzalez Vargas, Tequila Siete
Leguas Distillery has been selling its tequila in Mexico under its own Siete Leguas
trademark. The Siete Leguas Distillery sold its super-premium tequila to St. Maarten
Spirits, Ltd. in the U.S., where it was marketed under the brand name Patron from
1991 through 2002. Siete Leguas therefore has been enjoyed by tequila aficionados
across the U.S. since 1991, with over 100,000,000 servings of its unique formula for
Silver, Reposado and Anejo being served under the Patron label during that period.
Siete Leguas NOM 1120 has remained under the same family's control for 3
generations, with the same commitment to produce the finest tequila. It no longer
produces its formula for Patron, which now has a different formula and NOM. The
Patron brand has no affiliation to Tequila 7 Leguas and its NOM 1120."

"Patron Tequila, like the great wines and cognacs of the world, is exceptional for a
reason.  It begins with the finest growing region in Mexico.  High in the mountains of
Jalisco exists a region with perfect soil and climate which allows the sugar and acid
balances of the Weber Tequilana Blue Agave to mature and produce an "agave
pineapple" unequalled elsewhere in the world.  Like premium wine grapes the sugar
acid balance must be perfect before harvest.  Patron tequilas are the only tequilas truly
produced in the traditional homemade fashion.  After harvest the "pineapples" are
carefully selected, trimmed, and then slowly steam baked.  When cooked to perfection
the "pineapple" is mascerated with large natural stone milling wheels.  The
fermentation is done with the fiber of the "pineapple" which helps impart its unique
flavor and smoothness.    After a double distillation process the tequila is aged in small
oak barrels.  When properly aged the tequila is fine filtered and ready for careful hand
bottling.

THE BOTTLES
Each Patron bottle is a "one of a kind" hand-blown creation.  IMPORTANT: The slight
variations in apparent volume is due to the uniqueness of each bottle.  Each bottle
contains exactly 750 ml. of this delicious tequila.  Del Patron Reposado tequila is a rare,
aged, and limited bottling.  Del Patron is produced, bottled, and packaged for those
few who appreciate and demand the finest.  We trust you will enjoy this exceptional
aged tequila.
