Info on the Back of the Bottle: The fragrance of Tequila 4 Copas is
refined with great purity and quality which gathers the characteristics required
to achieve a unique Tequila with an unequal flavor.
Other Info: This bottle was given to me by my good friends at 4 Copas
Tequila. While they were giving it to me just because they knew I did not
have one, I considered it a graduation gift for achieving my MBA. I told them
I would call it a graduation gift but wanted to point out their kindness and the
fact that they would have passed it along to my collection anyway. 4 Copas
has long been a friend of mine and the Tasting Aficionados and they have
donated numerous bottles to charity events and the collection. Their tequila
is only surpassed by their determination and kindness which is why I always
do my best to meet up with them anytime I am in the LA area or they are in
my neck of the woods. If you have not got to meet anyone from the 4
Copas crew, I would recommend you make an attempt to do so at one of
their tastings or numerous charity events they participate in. I truly cannot
say enough about these guys.
When it comes to the tequila, it is no secret that the Reposado is my favorite
of the 4 Copas line. Thus, this makes this 1st edition bottle even that much
more special. Not to mention, this is the only bottle of the 1st edition
Reposado I have ever seen. The Blanco version of this bottle is also on this
site so you may want to look at that one as well. The Blanco has a date
stamp from the year 2000 so I would assume this Reposado is also from
around that time period.
In my opinion, this bottle is a great addition to any collection.
